In East Asia and Southeast Asia the Moon Festival is a time to celebrate the arrival of the new moon.
Held across five venues in Dominion Road, Potters Park and Balmoral, the Festival showcases a range of Asian cultures along with an infusion of diverse ethnic representations through dance and performances, arts & craft, food and light displays. 2023 will be our biggest event yet, with an action-packed programme that's sure to please young and old - all weekend long!

For foodies and the adventurous, it's a time to visit Dominion Road to explore and discover mouth-watering diverse culinary fare on offer by local eateries.
For families and people of all ages - come along and join the fun. Explore eat and enjoy!
Shop at the mini-markets and listen to music at Ballantyne Square, take a seat and enjoy the performances and food trucks at the big stage in Potters Park, enjoy activities and treats in the Mt Eden War Memorial Hall, have fun children's amusement rides while savouring the delights of food stalls in Balmoral, or explore fascinating cultural heritages in the Bridge to C Church centre...
